They’re drafty, they invite the summer heat IN and the air conditioning OUT.
We opted for replacement windows.
With all the windows out, you'll be using a flyswatter for a couple days.
They install right over the original frames so you you don’t have to break the seal or refinish the interior walls or exterior stucco. Although after removing the old trim, we had a little patchwork on our hands.
But the new windows are great.
They appear almost tinted during the day.
Best of all, they spare the neighbors from the screaming tantrums of a teething two year old.
